What skills would you have needed to live life before the Revolution? Come to our Colonial Kids' Week and find out! We will engage in a variety of hands-on activities such as dipping candles, practicing militia drill, writing with a quill pen, holding a Town Meeting, weaving, and more. Each day we will make a take-home craft (stilts, anyone?) to demonstrate your new "old" skills. The fee for this week-long program is just $110 per child.

How to enroll: This program is being offered through the Bedford Recreation Department. You can enroll online at www.bedfordrecreation.org, or call 781-275-1394.

Tom Musco, the timber framer who did our full-size barn in 1993, will bring the pieces. We'll erect them together and learn a lot about timber framing while we do it. This is an outdoor event. There's room for just 10 kids and their adults, so sign-up is required. The cost is $22/per child.
