The Friends of the Job Lane House, Inc. was organized to
support, aid and cooperate with the Bedford Historical Preservation
Commission in restoring, preserving and maintaining the Job Lane
House, to conduct programs to enhance the house and gardens and for
the educational and social benefit of members, school children, the
citizens of Bedford and for the community at large.
Friends collect, preserve and display artifacts and records
pertinent to the history of the house, raise funds and accept
contributions for necessary expenses connected with the operation,
improvement and preservation of the house and grounds; print,
display and sell materials necessary to accomplish the purpose of
the Friends coordinate activities and safeguard the House and Barn.
